How to fingerpaint on the iPhone like Patricio Villarroel
Many thanks to Patricio Villarroel for sharing with us his tricks in this little tutorial; using Kandinsky lite, Pollock, PhotoFX, Photogene and Brushes. Patricio is probably one of the most distinctive and certainly the most productive iPhone artist I know, so this walkthrough is a little gem to me. Here we go.
step 1: starting it all with kandinsky lite.
step 2: going in with the Pollock App.
step 3: photo fx lets you add some blur and glow.
step 4: time for brushes.
step 5: Photo FX again, running some filters.
finish: with photogene the final touch up is done and voilà:

This is beautiful! Love it to bits. What is Kandinsky Lite though? I’ve done searches across the web and the app store and can’t find anything. It seems like it’s a great app for generating random shapes

Thanks for replying Patricio – it seems like all of Alessandro’s applications have disappeared off the app store. Ah well, thanks again for showing your process, and for introducing me to Pollock which I’d never tried before!
