Hi Eric!
It’s a pogo stylus (don’t know if it’s the Sketch model, which is way better for painting)

I tried the glove but I kept sneaking the tip of my pinkie on the surface to ‘brace’. So I got out my clear lucite artist bridge over a soft piece of foam core on my desk and Voilå! Bridges come in sizes 12″, 18″ and 22″. The iPad spins and slides around underneath as well. Just another working option!
